Weekly Writing Update:
1. I'm really enjoying the alien piece. I'm about five chapters in and have expanded my outline a bit. I have a bit more of an idea of the why, but the entire story hasn't revealed itself to me yet.
2. I'm about six chapter into the third draft of Awake. This has to be one of my favorites.
3. Fated is rounding the end. The story has changed some, which has slowed down my writing some.

1. Even though I'm supposed to be working on an Alone sequel, I started a separate post-apocalyptic novel last week. I've nearly two full chapters written and twenty outlined. I'm excited about this one, but don't look for it to come out any time soon. It's an alien piece, and I've never really done aliens before. I'm reading a bunch of science fiction stuff right now to help me.
2. I've expanded the first two chapters of Awake. The novel was long, to begin with, and now it's longer. LOL! I think you guys will love it anyway.
3. I'm still working on Fated, but the Alien piece is holding most of my attention.
4. I like the following photo. It'll be one of the few I'll send to my cover artist soon. I'll need to swap the flood for zombies, cut down on the vegetation, change the MC to a plus size brunette, and add a few more people, but other than it looks like a scene from Shore Haven. I love it. I'm hoping my CA can create something similar for me.

1. I've learned a great deal about photoshop in the last few weeks. So much so, that I went back and altered HIM's cover a bit. I love the new look. Because the ebook is now free, I'm not altering the paperback cover at this time. I love the new look. it really pops.
2. I started a new piece this morning. I know. I know. I should be working on Survivor, but this one is stuck in my head. It is not a romance, but it is a science fiction, possibly alien novel, which is outside of the realm of what I'm used to writing, but I'm enjoying the story so far.
3. I'm twenty chapters into Fated. I expect it to top out at around 30 chapters. I've detoured a bit from my original outline, but as always that's for the best.
4. I haven't decided on an idea for the cover of Shore Haven, so I'll be talking to my editor and the two betas who have read the novel over the next few weeks to get their opinion.

Happy Snippet Sunday Everyone. How was everyone’s week? Mine went surprisingly well considering how badly the last few have gone. I didn’t get to everyone's posts last week, and I apologize. Doctors’ appointments went longer than expected, so I got a bit behind.
