Leaving Liberty is all set for next Friday’s release. I’ll start posting chapters to Goodreads and my Website next week. D2D won’t let me do a free pre-order, so, obviously, the short story isn’t up for pre-order. I’m going through D2D first, and once the story is live through all of their channels, I’ll submit it to Amazon. Amazon will make me list it at $0.99. Do not pay $0.99 for this story. It is only about thirty pages. Make the price match.
Speaking of LL’s release, stalk my Alone and other PA novels FB page. I might do a giveaway. I’m not having a full on release party, but I might giveaway an eBook and a zombie-hand tumbler.
Hostage has gone to a few betas, but I’m waiting to get LL live before I spend too much time on the story. My head will explode if I do too much.
Childhood’s End and Awake are still in editing. I expect Awake, as it is a full-length novel, to be in editing for a while. Childhood’s End may take a few more weeks. It is a bit longer than LL, but not by much.
I finished the second draft of Nowhere to Go, another Shore Haven short story this week. I feel like I need to give it one more read-through before I think about sending it to editing, so it’ll probably be another week before I start the next short story. I don’t have a title for it, but it’ll sort of be a sequel to Nowhere to Go.
I made a little headway in Fated this week. My head is too stuck in Shore Haven’s world, I think, to have the needed inspiration for the story. That isn’t to say that I’m not liking where I’m going with the story, and in a sense, the Valeterra series is a post-apocalyptic series, as it is set in a world devastated by a plague, but the books are supposed to be romances, not straight Pas, so that’s what I’m having a problem with.
Most of what I’ve done this week is write. I’ve had a little drama with my MIL. She’s had three mini-strokes so on occasion she has memory issues and does odd things, and we’ve had one of those weeks, but that’s par for the course I guess. I can tell I’m still traumatized over what I went through with my FIL, because this week’s issue was minor in comparison with what we’ve had to deal with in the past and my husband dealt with 90% of it, and I still had a panic attack to the point that I had to leave the house.
I guess that’s it for the week. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
