Meet My Character Monday Blog Tour: Meet Doyle from ALONE

October 13, 2014

Good morning. I want to start by thank those of you who are joining us for the first and thanking all those who have been with us from the beginning. I hope you guys enjoy reading these bios as much as we enjoy writing them.

Today I want to introduce you to Doyle Nichols. Doyle is a fictional character in my post-apocalyptic novel, Alone. Alone is set in the south in the not too distant future.

The most notable thing about Doyle is that he is Eve’s first love. They met in high school and were friends for about a year before they started dating. They continued to date after high school and through college. Throughout the novel, Eve keeps most of the stories about him secret, and since he leaves early own we don’t know much about him. We know they liked to play pool, hang out at an old railroad bridge, and party as most teenagers and young adults do. We do know that Doyle loves Eve with all of his heart, which he shows by always being by her side through the death of her sister and her brother-n-law and is willing to help her family whenever they need him.

He doesn’t have much of a family, so he doesn’t feel the effects of the sickness that is slowly killing the planet until his father gets sick. His father is in Chicago on business when he gets sick, and Doyle’s mother insists he taker to her husband. Being the dutiful son, he does, and that is the last we see of him.

To find out more about Doyle, the sickness, and what happens to Eve after he leaves, pick up your copy of Alone. The eBooks are only $3.99 at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Place, and Smashwords. To find out more about this novel, visit me on Facebook, Goodreads, Pinterest, and Twitter.
