Session One – Tuesday, May 4, 1999

Dr. Murphy: Now, after all these weeks, that you have finally decided that you are ready to tell me what happened to you on Little Paw Island, where do you think you should start?

Amy: I guess I should start with the first day of that last reunion. That seems as good a place as any to begin.

Dr. Murphy: Why have you picked that day?

Amy: I don’t know. Maybe because it is one of the clearest memories I have. If I start there, maybe the rest will come a little easier.

Dr. Murphy: All right, then start there.

Amy: Telling this story feels weird. Are you sure you want to hear some of this? Things are going to be a bit graphic.

Dr. Murphy: I can handle whatever you tell me. If I couldn’t, I wouldn’t be in this line of work.

Amy: Fair enough. Okay, here goes. The trip started just as all the others…
