Welcome back to my Meet My Character Monday blog post. Sorry for the absence, but I had a tornado come through a few weeks back that did some damage, then I had to get ready for the release of my next FREE short story, In the Dark, which you will find out a little about in the post.
Now on to my next character: the unnamed vampire.
Yep, I went for the Nosferatu look. No sparkly vampires here. :)
This fictional character from my new, free short story, In the Dark, set in New England, doesn’t have a name. The most important thing to know about this character is that he is a vampire, and not the vegan, sparkly kind. His main goal in the novel is to feed, and to feed on one person in particular, the main character in the novel, Alisa, but unfortunately for him, she won’t be easy prey.
Here is how Alisa sees him:
She peeks through the small opening, trying to get a good look at whomever it is doing the tapping. What she sees is a humanoid beast with dark, sunken, yellow eyes, hard, raised cheekbones, a rough brow, and razor sharp teeth. Her breath stops in her lungs. Her heart even stops beating for a second.
The tapping ceases. Alisa watches as the beast’s features quickly smooth out, and transform into a very handsome looking man, a man with long, blonde hair, soft, smooth skin and a dimpled chin. No matter how good-looking her eyes find him, her tingling spine feels the predatory vibe his body gives off.
