Author Update:
Happy Friday, faithful readers. I hope all of you had a good week. Ours has been a bit rainy. Unfortunately, that means I’ve had to spend more time in the house dealing with my MIL’s crazy than I’d like. I did escape to visit a friend and her beautiful children, and today, I’m going to see my mom.
I wish I could say that being indoors has made me productive writing-wise, but it hasn’t. My MIL drains me rather quickly of my energy when she wakes and starts in about whatever she wants to be mad or obsessive about that day.
I have started reading through Awake and Sweet 16, Awake’s first short story. I hope to send the short story to my editor soon and to send Awake in July. I’m also making notes for more short stories based on the novel. I know…I know…I need to finish the ones for Shore Haven first. I’m trying. I did work a little on Tera at the beginning of the week. I don’t like much finishing the second draft. I’m just having a hard time focusing on it.
I’ve also been sending Childhood’s End to my betas. In about a month or so, I should have a release date for it. Yay!!!!
